School Consultation
How It Works
All services are completely customized to your school. During the initial complimentary phone consultation, we discuss your goals and desires for our work together - including how often you would like to meet and what goals you would like to target. The first session together is a 2-hour, on-site evaluation and goal setting meeting, which often includes some immediate training and guidance. Within 48 hours of our first meeting, you will receive a written summary of the evaluation and action plan.
I offer complimentary analysis of the data in between scheduled sessions to ensure it is moving in the way we are hoping it will or will provide an alternative strategy to use until our next scheduled session. It is important to me that our work together results in positive, observable, quick changes in behavior and that we ensure we are always reinforcing the behaviors we want to occur more often!
Examples of Services
Teacher Training
I provide training to individual, small groups or large groups (school wide) based on your need. Some examples of teacher training topics are:
-data collection and analysis (for behaviors or learning)
-improve rate and accuracy of student learning
-increase teacher's accuracy of delivering instruction
-improve classroom management by applying principles of behavior analysis to teaching
-teacher training of behavior analytic strategies for classroom and instruction
-assessments to determine present/absent missing verbal capabilities & protocols to induce the missing capabilities
Improve Student (and school) Outcomes
I work with your organization to identify an outcome you would like to improve, determine a current analysis of the contingencies surrounding that outcome and create a plan to implement that will shift the outcomes in a desired direction. During our consultation sessions, I provide analysis of the data, training and guidance or tweaks to the action plan. I provide training on necessary components of the action plan, such that you and your staff can implement the action plan with fidelity in between our sessions.
Individual Student or Classroom Consultations
If your need is related to specific students, classrooms, grade-levels, etc., I am happy to provide consultation based on need.
Other
I enjoy collaborating on the use of behavior analysis to achieve desired outcomes. My experience using behavior analysis to teach general education, special education and inclusion classrooms has given me a unique perspective on using behavior analysis within a classroom or school setting.
