All services are completely customized to you. During the initial complimentary phone consultation, we discuss your goals and desires for our work together - including how often you would like to meet and what goals you would like to target. The first session together is a 2-hour, in-home evaluation and goal setting meeting, which often includes some family training and guidance. After our first meeting, you will receive a written summary of the evaluation and treatment plan.
I offer complimentary analysis of the data in between scheduled sessions to ensure it is moving in the way we are hoping it will or will provide an alternative strategy to use until our next scheduled session. It is important to me that our work together results in positive, observable, quick changes in behavior and that we ensure we are always reinforcing the behaviors we want to occur more often!
After the initial assessment and evaluation, I provide parent and family training and guidance based on the current goals and needs of the client and family. The goal of family training is to change the behavior and verbal development of the child by changing the behavior of parents and other family members. A change in a child's environment always has an impact on their behavior.
Quarterly sessions are recommended for this model.
After the initial assessment of your child's verbal development, I track the development of those verbal capabilities overtime and provide the family updated guidance as the child's verbal development changes. This is a nice compliment to other more intensive services such as speech and/or an ABA program. Since these therapies typically have a positive impact on a child's verbal development overtime, it is important for the family to make adjustments to the child's environment at home to maintain the new levels of verbal behavior.
Quarterly sessions are recommended for this model.
After the initial assessment and evaluation, I write an intensive, in-home, ABA treatment plan for your child and train you to implement the program at home. We can target as few or as many skills as we see fit and work on anything from using verbal vocal behavior to toilet training. Along teaching with discrete skills, we will also target your child's verbal behavior development. Inducing new verbal developmental capabilities help a child learn in more natural ways, such as through observation.
Quarterly sessions are recommended for this model.
I love collaborating with other providers, especially schools. As a former teacher and now an ABA provider, I have been on both sides of the child's team (school and ABA Provider), therefore have a unique perspective and child-centered focus to collaboration.
It is important to individualize instructional plans for children who work above grade level to keep them engaged in learning. After a brief assessment and review of records, I write a treatment plan for your gifted learner that will keep them engaged and motivated to learn at home. I have experience working with schools implementing similar programs and would be happy to write the treatment plan in collaboration with your child's school.
Quarterly sessions are recommended for this model.
After an initial assessment, I write an intensive ABA program to assist your child/young adult in succeeding in a workplace environment. At each consultation session, I provide training on how to implement the program, review program data and provide new guidance and training as needed based on trends in the data. The goal is to make the individual as independent as possible in the workplace environment - one step closer towards leading a more independent life.
Quarterly sessions are recommended for this model.
After an initial intake, I establish a treatment plan and work directly with your child or individual identified to receive services. This can be short-term, to help get a treatment plan implemented or more long-term. I accept 1-2 direct clients at a time. Please inquire for availability.
I establish a tutoring plan that fits your child's needs. I will work directly with your child - any number of hours per week you choose. I will also leave you with tools and strategies to implement the plan with your child, if you wish.
Tutoring is available for all types of learners and utilizes a behavior analytic approach.
I enjoy applying my knowledge of ABA to helping families of all learners in many ways. If you have a specific request that is not listed here, just ask!
