Dr. Oblak earned her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Gonzaga University in 2005, with a Certification in Elementary Education (K-5). She attended the Teachers College at Columbia University (TC), earning a Master of Arts in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis (2007), a Master of Arts in Philosophy (2010) and Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis (2010). While at TC, she studied the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling (CABAS) and earned Master Teacher, Assistant Research Scientist and Associate Behavior Analyst ranks within the program. Dr. Oblak has 19 years of experience working in homes, schools and clinics providing services using behavior analysis. She has worked in schools with both typically developing and special needs children in Washington, New York and Louisiana and holds teaching certifications in all three states. For the past 8 years, Dr. Oblak developed and oversaw an intensive ABA clinic for children 2-22 here in Seattle, which followed the CABAS model of teaching.
